Scenic reports that its Antarctica bookings on Scenic Eclipse saw an 80 percent month-over-month increase in January 2021 as luxury travelers looked to secure their next adventure. To keep the momentum going, Scenic is offering free roundtrip business class flights on selected 2022 Antarctica itineraries available on new bookings made between Feb. 25 and March 31, 2021.

This is in addition to Super Earlybird savings of up to 20 percent on those same Scenic Eclipse all-inclusive voyages when the booking is paid in full 12 months before departure. All bookings are covered by Scenic’s flexible booking policy, enabling guests to defer their cruise to another travel date or itinerary up to 60 days prior to departure, as well as Scenic’s Deposit Protection Plan.

Custom-built for sailing in polar regions with just 200 guests on board, Scenic Eclipse’s luxury is seen in the ship’s design, the 10 dining options, the more than 5,000 square foot spa, and the custom beds in the 350 to 2,600 square foot staterooms, each with butler service. The highest health and safety standards are met with its state-of-the-art technology. Its structural design allows for more ice landings and opportunities to observe the wildlife in its natural habitat. Going a step further, Scenic Eclipse offers guests two six-guest on-board helicopters and a six-guest submarine capable of depths of up to 1,000 feet.

The free business class flights and up to 20 percent Super Earlybird savings apply to the following two voyages.

13-Day Antarctica in Depth: Scenic makes the most of Antarctica’s long summer days to explore the region on guided kayak and Zodiac tours. For intimate wildlife viewing experiences, guests can choose to head below the surface with the onboard submarine, Scenic Neptune, or head beyond the horizon on one of the ship’s helicopters. Daily discovery excursions take guests up close to ice formations, onto islands to view vast penguin rookeries and seals, and stand quietly and listen for the sounds of ice cracking and whales feeding below. Prices for the 13-day itinerary start at $13,390 per person, double, for the Feb. 16, 2022 departure, inclusive of the up to 20 percent Super Earlybird savings. February 5 and 27 sailings are also available with the free business class flights and Super Earlybird savings offer.

19-day Antarctica, South Georgia and Falkland Islands: For guests with more time, this voyage to Antarctica includes South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. Guests witness staggering numbers of whales, seals, birds and penguins as the wildlife prepares for their annual migration north. Highlights include visiting King penguin colonies in South Georgia, walking in the footsteps of Shackleton and visiting his final resting place, wandering the quaint streets that grace the Falkland Islands, and discovering the hidden coves of the Antarctic Peninsula. Fares start at $23,382 per person, double, departing March 10, 2022, inclusive of the up to 20 percent Super Earlybird savings.
